This Day in History: Little Women
This Day in History: Little Women
On September 30, 1868, the first of two volumes of Little Woman, written by Louisa May Alcott was published. What is know as a “beloved children’s classic,” has become a timeless classic for any reader.
The story is about an average family, as far as socio-economic status and size was concerned. However, the parents of the family had only four daughters. The tale follows their ordinary lives, and their “passage from childhood to womanhood.” It is a touching story that connects universally to people’s emotions.
