You can view all users in your account in the People page. You can manage and create account groups, manage profile pictures, and view user profiles.
Note: Currently the People page displays two different layout options. This lesson shows existing functionality for viewing account users in a list format and using the People sidebar to search for users. To learn more about enhanced filter and searching functionality in the People page, please see the new People page lesson.
In Global Navigation, click the Admin link , then click the name of the account .
In Account Navigation, click the People link.
The People page displays all users in the account. Users for the account display alphabetically by last name in the users page.
If your account includes enough users to paginate the page, the number of pages displays at the top of the page.
By default, the Users page displays enrollments in all terms. You can find users by term in the Terms menu . The Users list will display all users enrolled in the selected term.
You can also search for a specific user by name. In the Find a User field , Enter some or all of the user's name. Click the Go button . The Users list will display the search results of all related users.
If necessary, you can also manually add a new user to the account .
View User Profile
The user's profile displays information about the user in several areas:
- Name and Email : shows the user's full name, display name, sortable name, profile picture, default email, and time zone. As an admin, you can edit the user's profile details, act as the user, merge the user's account, and delete the user from the account.
- Login information : shows the user's login information, SIS ID (if any), account, and last request. If necessary you can manually manage login information to edit the login information or add an additional login and password.
- Enrollments : shows the enrollments for the user grouped by courses and/or accounts (if the user is also an admin).
- Page Views : shows the most recent page views for the user.
