We appreciate your feedback about the New Gradebook! Feedback helps improve our features, and the New Gradebook is no exception. Some functionality may have been initially created with a specific design in mind, but your feedback has taught our product team a few things.

Here are some popular feedback topics as noted from your discussions and questions in the New Gradebook group and the related feedback from our product team. We'll continue to add additional feedback here as necessary for clarification and explanation.

Several of you have mentioned how persistent the filter options are. Usually persistence is a good thing, but in this case, the expectation is that removing a filter will also clear the filter. Currently that is not the behavior in the New Gradebook. We've learned that we need to improve this functionality to be more intuitive and achieve the expected end result.

SpeedGrader Links

In phase .5 of the New Gradebook, we didn't have a SpeedGrader link. Moving into completing Phase 1, we've added a SpeedGrader link to the grade detail tray for each student. We'll continue to refine the Gradebook and make SpeedGrader links easier to access.

Gradebook History Quick Access

In all gradebook types (Gradebook, Individual View, and Learning Mastery), we provide you a quick-access menu to view any other gradebook. However, the Gradebook History page does not include this option. We're going to change the Gradebook History page so that you can get back to one of the other gradebooks more easily.
