Settings

On-Screen Calculators

The Settings page supports on-screen calculators for student assessments. Admins and teachers can select to provide a calculator with basic or scientific functions. The selected calculator type will be available to use throughout the assessment.

Students can open the calculator by clicking the Calculator icon.

Basic calculators include the functions to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Scientific calculators include all basic functions in addition to several scientific functions.

Users

SIS Import

The SIS Imports page supports manual SIS updates by CSV import. The following CSV files are supported: users.csv, sections.csv, enrollments.csv, and change_sis_id.csv. CSV files must be imported as a ZIP file.

When uploading a SIS file, admins can select an incremental or full batch update. Incremental updates will add new data contained in the CSV files. Batch updates will update user data in Gauge to match the data in the CSV files exactly. All data that is not included in the CSV files will be deleted.

Outcomes Mastery Export Section Filter

The Outcomes Mastery report supports filtering the CSV export by section. Instructors can download the Outcomes Mastery export for their course sections from institution-authored assessments. Previously, teachers could only download Outcomes Mastery exports for assessments they authored.
