Canvas Customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions are given one-to-one Training on how to use Canvas, with sessions dedicated to key roles within an organisation. Sessions are delivered via Adobe Connect, recorded and streamable once completed.

 

Admin Training (2 hours)Support Training (1 hour)

This session covers essential topics for new Canvas Administrators. This includes: structuring Canvas sub-accounts around organisational structure, managing users, customising your Canvas account, analytics and reports, and sharing resources. This will allow Admins to effectively manage, monitor and maintain their Canvas instance.

 

Target audience:

Canvas/previous-LMS managers and staff who will be responsible for organising and maintaining Canvas at an institution.

Teaches local support personnel how to troubleshoot problems and support end users. Participants will learn how to utilise Canvas documentation, interact with the user community, and effectively use the ticketing system (Service Cloud).

 

Our Tier 1 Support customers are also given guidance on completing the documentation necessary for Canvas Support representatives to assist the institutions staff/faculty effectively.

 

Target audience:

would be Canvas Administrators and technical staff who will be assisting an institutions end-users with Canvas queries.

Fundamentals Training (2 x 1.5 hours)

This training provides teachers with an introduction to Canvas functionality that Instructors can use in their courses. This training introduces users to the details of course content, including assignments, discussions, quizzes and grading. Learners will leave the training with the basics of how to create and grade items in their course.

 

 

 

This training provides teaching staff with a hands-on overview of basic Canvas functionality. Fundamentals part 1 dives into beginner topics which include personal settings, notifications, calendar, assignments, modules and course settings. Learners will leave the training with a basic understanding of how to navigate around the system and organise the structure of their courses.

 

 

 

Target audience:

The Fundamentals sessions are recommended for all users creating courses or supporting Canvas at an Institution.
