Peer reviews can be an effective feedback tool for students in your courses. Although Canvas has a peer review option in assignments, it is one feature that cannot be tested in 'Student View' (because it requires enrollment). Unfortunately, this makes it challenging for teachers to design peer review assignments and administer them in their courses (until it's too late).
This hands-on course will allow you to experience peer reviews in action -- from a student's perspective! The basics we will cover in this course:
- Automatically-assigned peer reviews
- Manually-assignment peer reviews
- Peer reviews for assignments
- Peer reviews for discussions
- Peer reviews with and without rubrics
- Anonymous peer reviews
After participation in this course, you will identify the gaps, find the hacks and create workflows to make peer reviews successful.
(NOTE: course enrollment is officially closed.)
