Remember the days when you would walk into your classroom and smile when you saw the TV/VCR unit? Or, noticed the days marked ‘Video-TBD’ in the course syllabus? It didn’t matter what the movie was, just that it would be a welcome change from another typical lecture.

It’s no surprise that videos are extremely engaging. True fact: Canvas courses average not one, not two… but 11.3 videos per course! But there’s more to classroom engagement than simply embedding a few videos.

Join ARC trainer Nicholas Demas as he shares ways teachers can enhance the use of videos in their Canvas classrooms with tools, such as YouTube and ARC. From closed-captioning to back-end analytics, effective use of videos can significantly impact your classroom engagement.
