Nearpod is a digital content tool for creating interactive and creative presentations.

Nearpod allows professors to create live lessons that students can access synchronously on their mobile devices. In addition to typical presentation material (such as PowerPoint slides), professors can incorporate other elements into their presentations such as quizzes, open-ended questions, polls, drawing activities, web content, etc.  This can be a great supplement to traditional Canvas content pages.

Professors provide a lesson code to students, which allows them to access the lesson on their mobile apps or internet browsers and engage in activities in real-time. The professors can then receive live interactive feedback, as well as post-lesson reporting and class performance.

This microwebinar will consist of a 15-20 minute demonstration with 10 minutes for a Q&A session.
