Instructional Development CoordinatorI have been serving as the Instructional Development Coordinator for American River College since 2014. I am passionate about exploring the use of technology to engage online students, and am an advocate for making the online educational environment accessible for all in the teaching and learning community. I believe technology provides exciting opportunities for online students and teachers to design and interact with their individual environment in ways that meet their needs. Can•Innovate is a wonderful chance for sharing what works in Canvas and learning from each other to promote our students’ success.

Universal Design for Learning Coordinator at American River CollegeI have been an American River College educator for seventeen years working to support staff and students in the online teaching and learning process. I happily became the Faculty Universal Design for Learning Coordinator in 2017 and through training and one-on-one meetings, advocate for creating curriculum that includes Universal Design for Learning principles, excellent instructional design, and campus wide accessibility for online learning resources. I am also a Lead OEI Course Reviewer.
