An option is needed for globally changing the point value of quiz questions in the Question Banks.
I understand the value can be reassigned after the questions are imported into a Quiz.
This is a very interesting idea, and I'm glad you were already aware about changing the point value once you imported them into a quiz. What is the use case for this? The use case might help people determine if this idea would help their workflow. Thanks.
I have many question stored in banks, as I import them into quizzes, many times I need to re-align the point values of each question. To edit the point values of a 5 question quiz it is about 15 clicks (click edit, add value, click update question). For a large assessment 100 questions you can imagine how a quiz level change option could be very helpful. This function was very useful when I worked with Blackboard previously.
christy coobatis and Dennis Tappin Would it help you if you used question banks and then used a question group? There you can define the point value for each question. How do I create a quiz with a question group to randomize quiz questions?
In some cases it might help, but sometimes I will use the same question in multiple assessments (sometimes across courses). The questions may then have different point needs. An assessment level adjuster would be the most helpful.
