Apply minimum deduction for late work

    Many "real-world" situations mean zero-credit for being late at all (e.g., scholarship applications, tax payments). To promote emphasis on being firmly on time with assignments, I've typically imposed a fixed minimum deduction (e.g., 10%) for being late at all, but then apply a more gentle further depreciation for hours or days thereafter.

    The current release of the New Gradebook (as of 1/17/2018) seems illogical having a "lowest possible grade". It would be nice to have a minimum designated deduction for not being truly on time, followed by the incremental percent decrease.
