Dashboard images have two major issues:

    1. They are not auto-cropped or compressed in any way, keeping the original file as is.
    2. Images not from flickr, are not cached ever, reloading every time the Dashboard loads.

The result of this is a major inefficiency in Dashboard page loading. I suspect this is no better on the mobile.

This means that a page that should only be a 1-2MB, can easily be 5-50MB, and because the browser isn’t cashing this, its downloading these images every time.

My idea – compress the dashboard images once uploaded, and allow for all images to be cached by the browser.
