Adding equation editor to the answer choices when creating a quiz would enable me to put fractions and equations as choices on multiple choice questions (for example). Being able to put images in the answer choices would make it so that students can choose the appropriate graph that matches an equation in the question.

Hi Sandra

With the current Quiz feature, I thought this was already possible with the

Maths Equationfeature:I have it on my Rich Content Editor toolbar and when you click on it you get a range of options:

Which then produces images of the equations eg for a Physics IB Multiple Choice question:

As it produces images, it sometimes looks a little ungainly especially as the sizes never quite match and the font is not the same as other font - but it does the trick.

Apologies if I am barking up the complete wrong tree...

PS We also use the free

Wiris - Equation Editor for Maths/Chemistrywhich does an equally good job and is a godsend for Chemistry based questions:Plus, if you have a 2in1 device it converts (with a bit of practice) your hand drawn designs to text!
