Get report (text and graphical) of breakdown of class performance on an assignment, by either percentile or letter grade so know how many students scored in each performance level.
Karla, have you investigated what is available in course analytics? Please refer to the Course Analytics section of What are Analytics? : "Grades use a box and whisker plot to show the distribution of grades [for assignments] in the course." In addition, the page includes a toggle that allows the instructor to switch from a pictorial to a textual view ("View Table Data").
As the above-referenced lesson states, Course Analytics must first be enabled at the account level, so if you're not able to see the View Course Analytics button (as described in How do I view Course Analytics? ) in your courses, please reach out to your school's Canvas admin for additional assistance.

We've archived this idea, and hope that you will investigate all of the graphical and textual displays available in course analytics.
Thanks for the Course Analytics link but its not quite enough details.
Instructor wants histogram showing # students who scored 0-10%, 10-20%, 30-40%, 40-50% etc. This would be valuable info that gets hidden in summary results that just include 25-75% percentile, median, low and high score.
Thank you for providing those additional details, Karla. We've placed the idea into Moderating status to give you the opportunity to edit the idea so that the description incorporates the specific additional information the instructor is seeking in the histogram. And we hope you will give the instructor the link to Priority: New Canvas Analytics so that he or she can participate directly in the development of this priority.
Would you be able to add the additional detail to this idea so we can open it for vote for you?
Yikes – I have no way of remembering who exactly requested this feature.

We'll open it for voting as is. It just may be confusing to voters?
I am particularly interested in a grade histogram. High/low/mean/median/mode are all apparent from a histogram, and I find it the msot helpful feedback to show to students.
