It is wonderful that Canvas messages can automatically be forwarded to Gmail and other external email clients. However, when a student replies to a threaded message in Canvas, it does not show up as a thread in Gmail. Instead, it shows up as a separate message and when you have 100 emails to answer every day, it is difficult to remember what message the student is replying to when they say "Yes, that is fine!"
It would be fantastic if the messages that Canvas forwards to Gmail (or any email) included the WHOLE message in that thread instead of just the most recent one. Thanks!
