I'm on a training team for a K12 district and we frequently use manually-created (non-SIS) Canvas courses to organize materials and communication over a number of weeks. Now that we're entering year four of use, we're noticing that concluding and archiving these courses is very cumbersome. As leaders, we have to go into each course, one at a time, then into Settings to conclude the section. Teachers' dashboards and All Courses list are filling with materials they don't need to access any more.
I've updated via API in the past, and I know we can set term limits which would handle it, but when a backlog exists, concluding courses is left to technical staff or someone who has to sit and click through one menu at a time.
It would be nice to have a checkbox in the All Courses list next to non-SIS courses that would handle bulk actions on the course itself. This would allow all users, teachers and administrative staff, to easily conclude to delete one-off courses.
