When supporting Canvas users with issues they report, the Pages Views page of the user can be very helpful to the supporting Admin. The users' browser agent can be very helpful.
The User Agent could show "Chrome 72.0" with a tooltip text of "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3626.96 Safari/537.36".
From this information it cannot be determined if the browser was used on a regular computer or desktop or that Canvas was opened using a mobile browser. In the guide Which browsers does Canvas support? is described that mobile browsers are not fully supported, but as a supporting admin it is not possible to identify the device.
This question has also been asked and discussed at Track whether students used desktop or mobile browser, some discuss the need for generic use of devices (which can be done using google analytics) and some address the need to be able to see this on a user level to offer better support.
Please add device and OS information to User Page Views page.
