Responsive web pages that resize and hide menus etc are really easy to design these days so I was surprised to find that canvas web pages are not responsive. As an example, I attach a screenshot for one of my canvas pages, as seen from an iphone 6. As you see, most of the screen is taken up by the menus with the result that the page content is inaccessible. By adding appropriate @media calls to the CSS it is possible to make to the two left-hand navigation menus disappear and become drop-down menus. Why doesn't canvas do this? I understand that there is a canvas app that you can use to view canvas pages on mobile devices but the existence of this app does not justify making the canvas web site unusable from mobile devices.
