Edit and Add Calendar Events in Canvas Student Mobile App

Students in my district have requested the ability to add events to calendars through the mobile app.  Students would like to be able to use the app as a mobile agenda book.  They would like to be able to add events to their own calendar from their phones.  We are not a one-to-one district.  So, they do not always have access to the computer version of the calendar.  Could a "Add" option in the calendar for both the student app be a possibility? Would you please edit the idea so that it focuses on the Student App?

I know that students I work with would really enjoy this added feature. They often open Calendar in Safari so they can add items. It would be great to have it in the app! It would also be neat to have the option of adding reminders to those items.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
