In the documentation at How do I use the Course Navigation Menu as an instructor?  It indicates that "Links that are hidden to students are indicated by a Visibility icon".  However there are currently multiple Canvas links that do not have the visibility icon and and also do not show up for the student.

Some menu items work great, for example  the following:

An image of 9 menu items - syllabus, outcomes (hidden), quizzes (hidden), modules (hidden), conferences, collaborations, chat, attendance, settings

Currently appears in student view as:

3 menu items - syllabus, collaborations, chat

The Outcomes, Quizzes, and Modules menu items all show the (in)visibility icon and correctly do not show up for students as expected. However, there are other menu items such as Conferences, Attendance, and Settings that do not have the (in)visibility icon and still don't show up for students. I understand that most teachers might expect that Settings wouldn't show up for students, but it seems like it would still make sense to have the visibility work consistently across all menu options.

The feature request is for the visibility icon be applied consistently across all default Canvas items. This will help instructors to have a more consistent understanding of the student experience without having to go into Student view.
