Have a feature in assignments that allows you to see a list of students enrolled that have not responded in discussions, collaborations, etc.

While this does not exactly provide a list, graded discussions have access to the "message students who" feature of the gradebook, and the "have not submitted" option should identify those who have not posted.  To access this feature for discussions that you are not grading, you could set them up as graded discussions but assign zero points to the discussion. 

With that said, the ability to save a list of students who have not yet participated would help in all assignment types during drop-add.  Newly added students will not be on the saved list, and so I would use that list when deciding what assignments to excuse or due dates to extend.

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
