Files and Pages in the same Hierarchy

There is no need to distinguish these different formats of information.

 @knn , I think that's an opinion, but not necessarily an opinion held by everyone. To me they are quite different and I wouldn't want them combined.

Agreed 100%.  I like the distinction Canvas provides.  In addition to the distinct areas, Modules can be used to tie everything together in an easy to use format for students, which may be useful here.

Hey Kona, Hey Christopher.

Nice of You to answer me back. We should probably not make a big discussion out of this. but still  :

  1. A page is like any other file, it is a piece of information with a certain structure.
  2. A module is something else..  (may be used to tie together files and assignments)
  3. If pages could be saved as files they might be put in folders just like files.

(maybe the same thing would be nice for assignments and quizes)

As part of the new Ideas & Themes process, all ideas in Idea Conversations were reviewed by the Product Team. Any Idea that was associated with an identified theme was moved to the new Idea & Themes space. Any Idea that was not part of the move is being marked as Archived. This will preserve the history of the conversations while also letting Community members know that Instructure will not explore the request at this time.
