We use question banks linked to outcomes for assessment purposes. This means that faculty need to pull questions from multiple banks when creating a quiz.
Unfortunately, once a question is added to a quiz, there is no way to tell where the question came from, whether from a bank (or which bank) or if it was added directly to the quiz. The unfortunate result is that sometimes questions are found not to be linked to the banks at all, leaving gaps in assessment data. Additionally, when pulling from multiple banks, it can be difficult to recall which banks the instructor has drawn from already.
Add a tag to questions imported from banks that will indicate what bank it was drawn from, as viewable from the edit questions tab of the quiz. It could simply state "found in "xyz" question bank," or something similar. Additionally, or alternatively, the questions in the banks might have an indicator as to what quizzes they are situated in.
