My instructors do a quiz review with the blank quiz (not student answers). They would like to print the quizzes with the rationale/feedback showing. Can this be done? And how?
Hi Victoria, thank you for coming to the community and asking your question. At this time there really isn't a good way to print quizzes in general, let alone with the rationales. Your instructor may be able to print from the browser but that is generally pretty messy and they would probably have to preview the quiz and then show the completed submission to show the rationales. We use a custom CSS to make the quizzes look a tad better. There are a couple of ideas about printing quizzes out there that I would check out Printable / PDF-exportable quizzes Exporting quizzes into Word or pdf documents . I know there are outside LTIs like Paperscorer that could potentially help as well. I'd also look at the Priority: Quizzes.Next: General Availability group since there is some discussion there of adding this feature in the future.
Victoria - To add to Tim Maw's spot-on advice, I will point out that even the ever-popular Respondus program, which will allow one to print out quizzes, does not--so far as I know--include instructor-created rationale/feedback on their output.
Hi Victoria Richards
A community member did create this nifty little process that you might be interested in trying: Print Canvas Quizzes UserScript
I have tried this myself, and it is rather groovy!
