My class starts today and when I try to click on the star to add it to my dashboard, it says the course is unavailabe "at this time".

To answer your question, please have a look at the section called "View Unpublished Courses" found in the middle of this Guide: How do I customize my Courses list as a student? ...as it sounds like this is the message you are seeing. If you are seeing something different on your screen compared to what is illustrated in that Guide, please let us know so that we might be able to help further. Thanks!
Thank you, Chris : ) When I looked at Canvas again, it said the course was as yet unpublished...I'll try again tomorrow.

While we may not know exactly what is going on in your specific course, we are always here to do what we can to make your experience using Canvas as comfortable as possible. There is an internal help system built in to Canvas that is described in How do I get help with Canvas as a student? If you haven't already submitted a ticket, you should definitely do so. This will contact any specific support agents familiar with your organization. I am going to mark this question as 'Assumed Answered' because we should be able to resolve this within the internal help system or further dialog in these comments. Please feel free to let us know if this course access issue persists.
