How do I add what courses I'm enrolled in onto my canvas profile?
Good news! I took the liberty of viewing your profile in Canvas. Your classes as well as your profile picture are visible to other users. You won't see the courses when looking at your own profile but other people will.
Hi Jessie , and Welcome to the Canvas Community!
Canvas does not have a functionality that will permit you to add your courses to your profile, but there really is no need to do so.
As a Canvas user, all of your courses are already listed under "Courses" in the global navigation menu, and all of your current courses should be included as course cards on your Dashboard. If you are not seeing your courses you should contact your school's Canvas support department or maybe even registration.
Some things to note when searching for your courses:

I hope this is helpful,
Thank you very much for the information and the kind welcome! I'm just a little confused because on all the people's profile I have looked at it says they are enrolled in the same course that I am. On my profile though it shows only my picture and nothing else. I can snip an example if that helps?
Hi again Jessie
I see what you are wanting to do, and you can do that. The only problem is that you will need to update that list every term manually.
Learn how at How do I edit my profile in my user account as a student?
When you edit your profile, you can list your courses in your Biography area, or even add the URLs of all your courses in the Links area (that might be a tad bit silly).
Ok I can do that I am also going to add this snip I took just to be sure were on the same page lol. I really appreciate your help
Do you mean that when you view your own profile you are not seeing your course list, or do you mean that other students have told you they are not seeing your courses?
No in my dashboard I can see my courses it's just in the profile part
Whoa, very sneakie in a stalking kind of way Scott Dennis, but thank you so much for researching this for Jessie!
You Rock, Sir!
We have not enabled this at our school (for no good reason, just didn't and nobody has asked for it), so I was not able to test this with one of our dummy students.
Scott, that is great news! I'm glad that someone checked that out for me. Thanks so much
How silly that they don't have that option for your school Kelley. This is all new to me but I sure am loving it
Not all that silly Jessie when you understand that I am the one who did not turn it on for my school's users. Never really a need.
