How can I see the document submitted by the students in the speedgrader? Do i need to download doc viewer on my laptop?
Hi Noemi and welcome to the Canvas Community! In order to see a student submission in SpeedGrader you do not need to download docviewer on your computer. You should be able to go to the assignment, and in the right-side of the screen see a button for "SpeedGrader" (see below). Clicking on this should take you to the SpeedGrader interface where you can view and grade student submissions.
Accessing the SpeedGrader from an assignment is described here, How do I get to SpeedGrader from an assignment, quiz, or graded discussion? . You can also get to the SpeedGrader from the classic gradebook (How do I get to SpeedGrader from the Gradebook?) or new gradebook (How do I get to SpeedGrader from the New Gradebook?)
I hope this helps but let us know if you try this and it doesn't work for you!
hello Eric! I can actually that in my laptop, but the problem is I need to
download the assignment, I cant see the output submitted, instead I was
redirected to microsoft edge. i wasnt able to use the annotations...
Hi Noemi. That is strange. I haven't heard of a situation where someone is redirected to and Edge when trying to use SpeedGrader. Do you normally use Edge? If you haven't tried in Chrome or Firefox you might give that a shot. Most everyone here uses one of these browsers or Safari and haven't had a problem. You might also try submitting a help request to Canvas Support. They may be able to provide insight into what could be happening.
Best wishes and please let us know what fixes the issue!
