How do I find student emails linked to a course title?
Hi stephen mitchell , and Welcome to the Canvas Community!
I am not entirely sure what you are asking? Student emails are not linked to course titles in Canvas. Student emails are listed in their user profile, and instructors can find the email addresses of their students by using the Student Context Cards. You can learn more at How do I view a context card for a student in a course?
If you are talking about the Canvas Inbox/Conversations functionality, and the list of student names when you address an Inbox message to students in a particular course, then these are not emails and there is no email address associated with the users listed for a course in the Canvas Inbox. Canvas does not have email.
Please clarify what you are asking about?
Hi stephen mitchell - I hope your term is going well! I noticed this thread, and I wanted to take a minute to check in! Do you still have questions about contacting your students? Kelley asked a few follow-up questions, and I'm curious as well. If you have a few minutes, it would be great to hear from you!
Hello there, stephen mitchell...
I have been reviewing older questions here in the Canvas Community, and I happened to come across your question. Like Kristin Lundstrum, I also wanted to check in with you because I noticed that we have not heard back from you since you first posted your question on January 15, 2019. It looks like we need some clarification from you on what you are asking so that we can properly answer your question(s). If you could please take a few minutes to come back and help answer these questions, that would be helpful. Or, if you feel that Kelley L. Meeusen has helped to answer your question, please let us know that as well by clicking the "Mark Correct" button next to his response. However, if you are still looking for some help from Community members, please come back to this thread to post a message below letting us know how we might be able to assist you. For the time being, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered" because we've not heard back from you in over six months and because there hasn't been any new activity in this topic since Kristin's posting on April 10, 2019. However, that won't prevent you or others from posting additional questions and/or comments below that are related to this topic. I hope that's alright with you, Stephen. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
