I wonder if there are plans to make it easy to change the value of points in an entire test and not have to go in individually to each question. This is time-consuming.
Donna and Yaddira, no need to submit a feature request! This functionality is already developed in Quizzes.Next. Points possible can be changed for the entire assessment without having to edit each individual question.
Hi Donna King,
Do the questions have to be in a specific order? If not, you can use a question group to set the value for several questions at the same time. And they'll be served up to students in a random order when they are taking the quiz, but all in the same order when looking at the correct answers.
How do I create a quiz with a question group to randomize quiz questions?
Cheers - Shar
That is not possible unless you have questions in a "question group", this was asked before in Changing Quiz Point values in bulk and that was the answer.
This is a feature that lot's of teachers would like, you can always submit it as a feature request.
Have a great day.
Well this is awesome news to me! I have not seen this feature, could you point us to the posting on how to do this. I must have missed this somewhere.
Of course, Yaddira! Since Quizzes.Next is an LTI predicated on the assignment type, points are applied to the entire assessment (top-down), as described in How do I create an assessment using New Quizzes?
Ah gotcha! I miss read the question, I often have teachers that want to change points value for several questions and must go in to each individual question and that's what I wast thinking about. Thanks for the clarification.
