If a student did not take a quiz and later--long after the due date--wants to use that quiz for review, how can I make that possible?
Hi Wilber. There may be different ways to approach this, but my suggestion would be to create another quiz using the same or similar questions that is specifically for practice. This could even be set as a practice quiz in the quiz settings so that it does not appear in the grade book. If you have created the original quiz using question banks (see How do I create a question bank in a course? or How do I create an item bank in New Quizzes?), then it can be easy to create a practice quiz by pulling from that question bank or selecting particular items from that bank to be on the quiz (see How do I create a quiz with a question group linked to a question bank?, How do I create a quiz by finding questions in a question bank? or How do I add content to an item bank in New Quizzes?). If you did not use a question bank originally, you can still find these questions in a default bank called "unfiled questions"
Another option could be to make the quiz visible (see What options can I set in a quiz? or How do I create an assessment using New Quizzes?) and allow the person to take the quiz and see their responses, but override any score given in the grade book by typing in the score they should be awarded. It will show that they took the quiz late, but you would know why this was the case and you could make note of this in the grade book or on the assignment itself.
As I said, there may be other ways but hopefully this gives you a place to start!
