I put in answers but then they disappear.

If you are following these steps and something strange happens, like the answers disappearing, one step you could try in attempting in two web browsers, such as Chrome and Firefox. Sometimes an issues exists in one for some reason but not another. After this, I would suggest contacting Canvas Support (How do I get help with Canvas as an instructor?). They could check and see if anyone has reported a bug and if so add you to the ticket so you get updates on progress to fix the issues. If it hasn't been reported, they may need to create a case for the problem.
