I just found out that our users.csv file was being kicked out because one student had an enye in their name. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a work around, other than doing an excel search and deleting every instance out?
Currently the characters within a CSV file which you're processing as part of an SIS import will all need to be UTF-8 encoded. Some characters will be unable to be processed and will need to be temporarily replaced with another letter in your CSV file and then later adjusted in the UI. If the ñ character is the one giving you trouble in this instance however you may want to try the information included in this guide created by another admin:
