Is there a way to use the Scheduler to create appointment groups from an specific date to another (For example from February 1st until May 1st) with out having to add each day one by one?
Marco, while Ken is correct that you do have to input each date individually, you can do that for a set of appointments all on one screen:
After you fill in one time, start date and end date, another line appears for entering the next date and times. I expect this to still be available when Canvas Studio: Scheduler/Calendar Integration arrives.
If your multiple appointments are on a recurring schedule (e.g., every Wednesday from February 1 until May 1), and you ideally wouldn't want to enter each weekly date, you may want to follow this feature idea and possibly contribute your needs or comments:
There's one other option if you can code or have a colleague who can: the Appointment Groups API and Calendar Events API could be used together to automate creation of appointments. While our institution doesn't do that currently, we do use those APIs to get the data for reports of student appointment reservations.
Hi Marco - Unfortunately, I am not aware of an easy way to do this, or even a work-around. Some good news: it appears there is an improvement in parts of the Scheduler due to come out soon, if this Canvas Studio project stays on track: Canvas Studio: Scheduler/Calendar Integration . Unfortunately, your specific question does not appear to be among the items to be addressed with it.
