How do you exit a class?
Dennis Liu, welcome to the Canvas Community! Could you be more specific about what you are trying to do? Do you want yourself removed from a non-credit course? Do you need to drop a credit course? Is this for the current semester or a previous semester.
The more information we have the better we'll be able to help you!
Hello Dennis Liu...
You have posted your question here in the Canvas Community where people from around the world come to ask questions about the Canvas LMS (Learning Management System). Your question doesn't provide a lot of specifics, so I'm going to provide you with two different responses...hoping that one of them is correct.
First, if by "exit" you mean that you want to unenroll or drop the course, this would be something that you'd need to talk with someone at your school about. The majority of members here in the Canvas Community would not have access to your school's Canvas instance, so we wouldn't be able to assist you with unenrolling or dropping a class. If you can reach out to an Online Learning department or even a Registration department at your school to see how you can be dropped from a course, that would be best.
Second, if by "exit" you are asking how to log out of a Canvas course, you can follow the steps outlined in this Guide: How do I log out of Canvas as a student?
Hopefully this has helped to answer your question. If not, please let me know. Thanks Dennis!
Hello once again, Dennis Liu...
I wanted to check in with you because we've not heard from you since you first posted this question on May 12th. Have you had an opportunity to review the responses that Kona Jones and I have provided for you? It seems as though we need some further clarification from you. If you could please take a few minutes to come back to this thread to provide an update, that would be awesome. Yet, if you feel that one of the above responses has helped to answer your question, please feel free to mark it as "Correct". For now, I'm going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered" because we've not heard from you and because there hasn't been any new activity in this thread for quite a while. I hope that's okay with you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Dennis!
