How to add the answers to quizzes in Canvas
Are you a student taking a quiz or an instructor creating one? Here is the link to the page in the guide on quizzes.
How do I create a quiz with individual questions?
Thanks Teri Ross!
We must have been typing at the same time!
Hi PHYLLIS WALKER
Are you asking as a student or as a teacher? Hardly matters, I will just provide an answer for both roles.
As a Teacher, this is trickier to answer, because there are many items types available in a quiz, and each can have a slightly different way of developing the responses. So I will send you to the Quizzes Chapter of the Instructor Guide, where you can pick the guide page for the item type you need.
I hope this helps, but if I have misunderstood, let me know.
Teacher, I want the test to be graded once the submit it, so that they
can see their score.
Thanks Phyllis, then you are going to want to review the guides for the auto-grade question types. these include:
I think that is all of them.
As an instructor, it is useful to become familiar with and make regular use of the Canvas Guides. They really are awesome! You will find the complete Guide Library at Guides: Canvas
I sure hope this helps,
Hello PHYLLIS WALKER...
As I was reviewing older questions here in the Canvas Community, I came across your question. I wanted to check in with you because I noticed that there hasn't been any new activity in this thread since October 4, 2017. It looks like you have received some good help from members of the Community. Did any of the above responses ultimately help to answer your question? Or, do you still have any outstanding questions yet as it relates to your initial question? If you feel that one of the above responses has helped to answer your question, please go ahead and mark that response as "Correct". However, if you are still looking for some help from Community members, please come back to this thread to post a message below letting us know how we can be of help to you. For now, I am going to mark your question as "Assumed Answered" because it's been four months since we've seen any new activity in this thread. However, that won't prevent you or others from posting any additional questions and/or comments below that are related to this topic. I hope that's alright with you, Phyllis. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon!
