When adding something to the calendar as an instructor, there is a to-do option. Where can I find more information about this?
Belinda ~ After some research, it turns out that this feature isn't quite complete yet. Some Canvas users may see it in their accounts, but the feature was moved to production while it needed a few more tweaks before it was completely ready to go. Watch Release Notes for updates!
Hi Belinda Stutzman
If you are asking as a student, you can learn the answer here How do I add a personal reminder to the Calendar as a student?
If you are asking as a teacher, you can learn the answer here How do I add a personal reminder to the Calendar as an instructor?
I hope this helps, but if you need more, you can always ask or check the Canvas Guides at Guides: Canvas
Nope, I am looking for the to do feature that is not in the menu next to

Hi Belinda Stutzman ~
That's a great question! With some searching in the Community GUides, I came up with these:
How do I use the Calendar as an instructor?
How do I add an event to a course calendar?
How do I add a personal reminder to the Calendar as an instructor?
However, as you can see, none of them include the "To-Do" Feature.
When I tried adding a to-do item to my calendar or to a course calendar, I was unable to get it to save. I'll keep an eye open for documentation and updates, for sure!
Were you able to get any "to-do" items to save to your personal or to a course calendar?
Whew! I thought it was just me.... I can not get it to save either......

I kept clicking "Submit" and nothing happens. Glad to know that it wasn't just me. When will this be ready to go?
Not sure, Frank! My best recommendation would be to watch Release Notes for updates. Announcements come every three weeks. (What is the Canvas release schedule for beta, production, and test environments?)
