Banner schools - Have you successfully updated your LMB server?

We're running our LMB from an old server that needs some fresh blood to keep shambling like the zombie it is.

Have any schools out there successfully updated your LMB servers? We're considering deploying with Docker but there are dependency issues that are preventing us from doing so.

How do your current LMB servers function? I'd love to hear your specs if you have them and if you have any suggestions on how to keep the LMB server upright.
