We are looking into different options on tools to create interactive exercises (quizzes, drag-and-drop, interactive videos etc.). So far we've been looking at integrating h5p.com or Course Arc.
Does anyone have any other suggestions/recommendations?
If your institution has used any tools of this kind, has it worked well for you? Pros/cons? Has the integration with Canvas worked well? Any other advice/reflections?
Have a great day, Canvas-admins!
I just came across your post so I wanted to put PlayPosit on your radar. It is an interactive video platform that has seamless LTI integration with Canvas for schools/universities that have a license. (You can request a demo here).
You can pull in video content from pretty much any source and add interactions for your students (multiple-choice, discussion forums, fill in the blanks, etc). The best part is that you can customize as much as you want or quickly pick from a template gallery. The searchable premade content library is another awesome resource in case you don’t have time to make your own content. Existing users share the bulbs (PlayPosit’s word for interactive video) that they’ve already made in a previewable format so you can see if it fits your educational needs.
There is a COVID-19 specific resource page here that provides a lot of useful information on how to get started as well as use cases for inspiration.
Hope that helps!
