[ARCHIVED] Can I undo a module copy?

I had the modules for all my courses for this week, and I was trying to copy an empty one to continue preparing next week's, I have the empty one in different course, but it replaced all the of these week's modules in all my courses with the empty one. I lost all my work for this week. please help.

Copying a module should not have deleted any existing modules. Even if imported. Can you share more about how you copied the module? 

Even if the modules are gone, the activities, files, and pages should still be available in your course. Links in modules are just shortcuts. All of your quizzes, discussions, pages, and such should still be there.  If not, there is a larger issue going on.

Another option is to open each of the new pages that have been replaced, then go to page history and select the date before the import.

But this probably wont work for other items like discussions, assignments, quizzes since they don't have a page history feature.
