I'm am a teacher of a class that requires participation from many other teachers. While entering them into Canvas Module via "+ People", I get a message that indicates that Canvas can't find matches for the email addresses below (see attachment for screen shot). I had this problem on approximately 4 out of 25 email addresses I submitted. I have verified their email addresses and they appear to be correct or at least they work in Google Mail.
Could this have something to do with a mismatch between a Canvas Profile email address and their google account email address?

Hi Ervin,
Do these teachers have accounts in Canvas?
If the teacher doesn't have an account in the FFT accounts (Free For Teacher) then what you describe happens. Don't worry. They'll get their email invitation, create their account, then accept the course enrollment.

Hi Layne,
Thanks for the info. So that I'm clear, it sounds like even though I get a pop up that states "Canvas does not recognize the following emails", the parties still get and invitation to the course that they can create an account, then accept the course enrollment.
Thank You,
Ervin
Hi
Yes. As long as the email is correct then they will get the email invitation, create their account, and accept the enrollment. It's pretty sweet.
How can I see the email address that I have entered for a student? The student has not accepted the invitation so it may be that I have entered the wrong email address? Is there a way to see a list of email addresses that I have entered for the students?
Hi there, @stargw11 ...
There are two places I can think of where you can view the e-mail addresses of users that are in your course:
Beyond that, you'd probably have to get a listing of the e-mail addresses from your school's SIS (Student Information System) or contact your school's Online Learning / eLearning department to see if they might be able to help somehow.
Hope this helps! Keep us posted...thanks!
