[ARCHIVED] Canvas is chewing through my mobile data
I am marking my classes using Canvas on my laptop and hotspotting from my phone. The data usage is out of control 10GB in two hours. Any tips on how to reduce data draw when using Canvas out and about?
If the course you are working with has a lot of images, videos, and large files that could explain the data spike. What you could do is set up metering for your hotspot using this guide to see if that helps.
