What is happening with the conference feature? I had one set up, but after clicking "join", it just gives me a blue screen, then finally this error.  I pretty much had to cancel class today after trying logging out & back in, etc. for 20 minutes.

I can't say for sure why you received this message, but the conference tool built in to Canvas does have limits as to how many different conferences with your school's instance can run at the same time.  I believe it's only 10 unless your school has made arrangements for more.  If your school had hit the limit in terms of the number of conferences running at that time I could see there being an error message like this.
