Are you a teacher creating materials on Canvas for your students? Are you a student trying to increase the readability of your Canvas course?

Here's what you can do as a student, and what you can show your students to do as an instructor:

1. Click on Account in the upper-left corner of your screen. It's where you see your photo in a circle.
2. Now, click on Settings. (These are your personal account settings, not the course settings.)
3. Scroll down the page until you see "Feature Options."
4. Look for "High Contrast UI."  Enable it. (Turn the red circle to green.)

That will make the font darker for you.

Note: this is a feature that individuals set up for themselves (not for all students taking a course).
