Why do some assignments appear blank when viewed by a student but not in the student view?  I can see the information in the assignment when I click "student view".  But when a student clicks the assignment the instructions are missing?  Here is an image of what I mean.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a2_qZdITTG8uVWrllC84fAY7EdCpPCFU/view?usp=sharing

Finally, I have checked the due date and the due until date?  Any help would be great.

@msnodgrass, I think your student who supplied this screenshot might have navigated to a not-yet-submitted assignment from their Grades.  If they access it from Modules or Syllabus in your course (or Assignments, if the course included that tabAlso), they'd normally see the description.
