[ARCHIVED] points for individual questions in a quiz

I have created a quiz in canvas.  It is not published but each time I try to change the point value for individual questions and save the screen, the scores revert back to the previous points.  I would like to assign 33 points for a question but after saving it reverts back to one point.  Can anyone help?

If you are editing in the quiz itself, then you need to make sure that the update to the question is being saved.

Is this a question in classic or new quizzes?  Also, just to make sure, you are editing the question in the quiz?  In other words, you are not editing the question in the question bank and looking at the quiz that already has the question in it.  Lastly, if you are in classic quizzes, don't forget to click on the update question before saving the quiz.

I am not sure if I am in classic or new.  I just am making a quiz in the modules.  I am editing in the quiz itself.

I completely agree with @Ron_Bowman on this one.  Make sure you are clicking the blue "Update Question" button at the bottom of the question you are editing...as shown on multiple screenshots in this Guide example: How do I create a Multiple Choice quiz question? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).  You'll then need to scroll to the very bottom of your quiz and click "Save"...which should then save any changes you've made.
