[ARCHIVED] uploading a 1gb video to FILES on Canvas...

I have a student-made video in Google Docs. It is 1gb and when I try to upload it to my course FILES on Canvas it tells me that I am over my quota. I want to post this video to a Discussion for students. How can I upload this to Canvas?

 @richard_johnso1 ‌, as noted in https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12708-4152719727 , file uploads are limited to 500MB. The lesson includes recommendations for external hosting of files that exceed that limit.
