The "Total" column in the grade displays the total grade (not weighted). Is it possible to display a weighted total grade?

On your "Assignments" index page, you can create assignment groups. For example, you might have an assignment group called "Written Essays", another assignment group called "Quizzes", and another assignment group called "Graded Discussions". Then, you can put each assignment in one of those assignment groups. After you do that, you can then weight each of those assignment groups however you want. For example:
Those three assignment groups that you've weighted will then appear in your Gradebook screen. Here is more information for you:
