Assuming that your buttons are images on your homepage, generally speaking, you can only link to one thing (in this case, a specific module). This would be similar to making a text link on a page...where that link usually points to a specific place in your course...or a specific website that you want your students to visit. The only way I could maybe imagine a button could point to multiple modules is if you tried making an image map out of your button...but that would take some extra work on your end.
