I do not understand how to or where to open the rich content to make this video, where do I begin?

Hello Michele,

Assuming that you want to make a video of yourself:

You can find the rich content editor in assignments, in discussions, in announcements (if you are a teacher), in quizzes (for teachers).

In the rich content editor you can record a video of yourself, see How do I record a video using the Rich Content Editor as a student? 

Or when you are a teacher How do I record a video using the Rich Content Editor as an instructor? 

Please note that some institutions may have the new rich content editor in use already.
