How can I set the People link in courses to default to Hidden?

Does anyone have a customized script that will automatically hide the People link in any course navigation?  We are looking to hide People as a default.

Sorry to see that your question has been sitting out here unanswered for such a long time.  I've been going through some of the older questions in this group, and I just stumbled upon a similar question which may be of interest to you: Hide PEOPLE tab for all courses - Canvas Community.  It looks like @robotcars has a possible solution.  I hope this will help a bit.  Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks!
